Check out the “Border Bash” ride:

Awesome ride – but probably not a good one to do alone as it’s really (extremely) steep in parts.

Did take a photo and will send it when I get it off the camera. Didn’t look as high as when you crossed.

Good on ya, Dave.
Was Horseshoe Creek flowing at the bottom?
Did you get any photos?

I did end up using the track and it did save a bit of time getting to Kyogle but for anyone else planning to use it, be prepared to do a bit of slogging. The track is pretty overgrown but it’s still possible to follow. There’s a lantana (?) covered tree that’s fallen across the track at one point and I had to climb over it getting pretty scratched up in the process.

Thanks for describing the ride though and the gpx file was really useful, especially for finding and navigating the track.

Cheers,

Dave.

G’day Dave

I’ve emailed you info about the property owner.

That downhill track through his place is steep, and really boggy in wet weather. So take it easy – especially since you’ll be by yourself.

You’ll get your feet wet at the bottom – there should be plenty of water in the creek 🙂

Neil
