Often on a Sunday young people would ride from many suburbs and it was common to see 50 plus horses there. Also it must have been a good short cut as I often saw gravel trucks crossing Bunya on their way to and from the gravel plants at Albany Creek. I am in my mid 60’s now but still go there with old horse riding mates to have a barbeque. Cheers Chris

No, sorry mate, none of us could afford the luxury of a camera in those days. I note that in my post I state that you could ride or drive ‘across’ the creek at Bunya crossing, I should have said ‘through’ the creek, there was no bridge, the water was only about 6-8 inches deep with a rocky bottom and it was quite safe to drive through it in my 1947 Morris Series E Tourer, the first car I owned. Cash’s Crossing did have a bridge.
