The dam wall “road” at Lake Clarendon is now sealed and no longer dirt as it was when you did this ride all those years ago!There is a gate saying SEQ Water access only but it is still easily accessible. Both Clarendon and Atkinson had a lot of water, no doubt helped along by Cyclone Alfred. Cheers. Lauren

Unfortunately with all of the drought that has been happening in the area, there is barely any water to be found at Lake Clarendon now. Quite sad. Also Atkinson Lake was also just a puddle until we got some of the last rain a couple months ago. Terrain would be a bit different now. 🙁

Now it’s filled by uplifting water from the Lockyer creek during floods, closer to Gatton and gravity fed via a water channel into the lake.
