Thanks for the kind words, and for reading about our adventures.
I agree with you – there are loads of beautiful places close to home. It’s just a matter of going out and finding them.
I appreciate the advice about the “Devils Apple” and will make sure not to include it in the fruit salad 🙂

Like you i absolutely love exploring the beautiful areas that are so close yet so far away.
With regards to the “tomato”, it is a Devil’s Apple and is extremely poisonous. I remember reading an article by Peter Cundall some years ago where he mentioned witnessing a man cut one open and just touch it with the tip of his tongue. If he hadn’t been rushed to hospital just that tiny exposure would have killed him.
To my utter astonishment though i have seen one of my goats eat 2 whole fruits without suffering any ill effects whatsoever.
