The purpose of todays ride was to explore some trails around the upper reaches Noosa River in the hope of finding an enjoyable route for a group ride next week.
A bunch of us are planning to ride from Kin Kin in the Noosa hinterland to Harrys Hut – a camping area on the banks of the beautiful Noosa River.

The serene Maroochy River meanders through sugar cane fields and mangroves as it wends its way from Yandina to Maroochyore on the coast.
Today’s adventure took us from Parklands State Forest, near Nambour, to several interesting spots along the Maroochy River, and then finishing back in Parklands.
I also wanted to have a look at different ways of getting from the river to Parklands as part of a future social ride where we may have to paddle across using Eric’s inflatable dinghy.
