I was away this week in Tasmania doing some work, so I thought I’d send some postcards home.
I’m often sending postcards to complete strangers via Postcrossing, so I thought it would be a pleasant change to send something to those I love.
It’s ironic. We often write notes or emails to colleagues, clients and suppliers, but how often do we write something worthwhile to those that matter to us most.
And these days, how often do we actually write something to anyone all?
Anyway, Tasmania’s a wonderful place, and I feel really fortunate to be able to see it so often. I love it!
Spring has sprung in Tassie.
I’m here doing some work for a client, and thought it would be good to share some pictures I took with my mobile phone of some of the flowers that are blooming all over the place at the moment.
These flowers were taken near Rosevears, on the west side of the Tamar River, about 15km north of Launceston.
We don’t really get spring in Queensland. It’s about 3 weeks of winter and that’s it.
It’s lovely to experience what seasons are really like for the rest of the world.
