Curramore

Obi Lookout

Curramore is a farming community on the northern edge of the Blackall Range near Maleny, overlooking the scenic valleys formed by the Mary River and Obi Obi Creek.  As with any ride which starts on a mountain we expected three things: good views, fun descents, then tough climbs back up the range afterwards.

For the last few years a large group of mountain biking friends have gathered for an annual “party on wheels” riding through the Glasshouse Mountains. This year sixty-eight happy riders took up the challenge.

Every year we enjoy a social ride with a large group of cyclists exploring the Glasshouse Mountains. A lot of groundwork goes into checking the trails to make sure they’ll be rideable. Today’s adventure helped us work out which tracks would be worth including, and which ones would be best avoided.
